Hi! I am Yvonne. I am a wife, mom, Nana, Christian, and retired school teacher. I have been a hobbiest photographer as long as I can remember. I am a collector of memories. Things that are dear to me, I just want to have a piece of to hold onto forever. I have always been fascinated with pushing a button and having an image be made. When I was a child I loved using my mom’s camera even though I seldom got to. We did not have money for extras like film and developing costs. But when she did have film, she always let me take a couple of the photos. There was nothing like getting that envelope in the mail and seeing what I had made.
As I grew up, I continued to be thrilled with making and keeping memories. I was even the photographer for my high school yearbook a lifetime ago! When I became a mother, the desire to capture these moments only became stronger and I am so very glad I have so many images of my babies who are now 33 and 29 years old. I became known as the mom with the camera at every event. Although they acted embarrassed as teens to have me hovering nearby, I caught my kids and their friends pouring over the photos many times!
I love giving to others the same feeling I got years ago when my photo envelope came in the mail. I love showing others the beauty in their everyday memories. I love giving others a piece of today to hold onto for tomorrow, because tomorrow will never be the same as now. And now is so very special.
